The Film

Shane, almost thirty, is the oldest caddie at Fairmount Country Club by fifteen years. After losing another job to a teenage caddie, he steals money from a club member's locker — Don Simisomo, New Jersey's wealthiest nightclub owner.

Don catches him in the act and hires him as a "Private Dick" to dig up dirt on his wife before their divorce hearing — sending Shane down a rabbit hole of theft, adultery, and heartbreak. No matter what he gets caught up in, whom he pisses off, or how good of a job he does, one thing never changes — Shane is a MOOCH.

"When I was in high school, my friend's dad told me I was going to fail in life because I was a 'Mooch.' Making this film was a dream come true, and I am proud to put my dirty laundry on screen for all to enjoy." — Jeff Ryan, Writer/Director
